The mission of the Animal Control Division is to provide the citizens and visitors of Union County with effective and cost efficient Animal Control Services via active enforcement of Georgia and Union County laws, the humane sheltering and disposal of dangerous animals, and the promotion of responsible pet ownership and animal welfare. The primary objective of Animal Control is to provide quality service to all people, while special attention is provided to the improvement of the co-existence of animals and humans.
